Seeking to introduce a new product line around a new, unique expression of exotic tea infusions, Rishi engaged ArtVersion to imagine new ideas in product line branding, strategy and packaging design.
Alongside an understanding of the the brand’s heritage in sustainability, expert craft knowledge and direct trade sourcing, our team began by analyzing consumer behavior and product experience around the tea and craft beverage marketplace. Taking into consideration the highly competitive market, the main goal was to help Rishi stand out by leveraging these insights toward a targeted audience, delivering engaging tonality and visuals that drive emotion and action, remaining authentic to the brand.
With an unrivaled reputation for quality through their dedication to the most exceptional teas, the makers at Rishi are dedicated to their craft. Aligning with the brand’s positioning, ‘Blendology’ was explored to capture the role of knowledge and craftsmanship that drives the vision of this new line of blended botanical infusions.
Creating both a tonality and visual identity system for the line, our team built upon the brand’s focus of sustainability, global reach and creativity to capture the emotional and intellectual aspects into an experience that draws the consumer into the storyline. Unique illustrations highlight each ingredient providing visual cues and expression for each individual flavor. Inspired by the illustrations, the design team created a bold, contemporary visual language that highlights the finery of the artwork and details the elements of the package.
