Reinvention: Designing a New Personal Brand Path

With decades of design experience already in place, the founder of a high end home design company was poised for a redesign. Aptly named the “Queen of Print” by many in her industry, her vision for the next phase of work was to expand her services, lending her vivid design and color expertise into the home and fashion product retail market. Having partnered with ArtVersion on digital and branding projects for her family of brands currently and in the past, the collaboration was a seamless choice.

Expertise, Insight & Brand Definition

Kicking off the project, brand definition was essential to outline what this new brand would offer and embody. Well known in the industry of Interior Design, her expertise lies in color and print trends, product designs as well as art and graphic direction. Working closely with corporate clients in creating collections, she collaborates on ideas, resulting in marketable products. Together, with competitive analysis and market insights we applied our strategic lens to build a relatable offering for the identified target markets.

Designed to Scale: From Print to eCommerce

Entering the design phase, legacy elements were incorporated to the newly developed brand assets, giving recognition to the brand family. Color palettes were formulated to coordinate and play alongside the lively pattern groups, no matter the hue or print. Logo, letterhead and identity assets were designed with custom design elements to express the unique character of the brand to prospective clients during launch and beyond. Simplicity was essential in the web design strategy to facilitate ongoing content management and to bring the designs and messaging to the top of the hierarchy. With plans to develop into ecommerce, a scalable navigation and page structure was designed and developed to be seamlessly added once product becomes available.
