Fair Food Program
SOP Report
Design
Fair Food Program is a pioneering human rights initiative focused on protecting farmworkers and ensuring ethical labor practices across the agricultural supply chain.
The organization partnered with ArtVersion to design its State of the Program Report, transforming detailed program data and narratives into a visually engaging publication. The goal was to present complex information in a clear and compelling way that resonates with growers, food industry partners, advocates, and the public.
Through a user-centered design approach, the ArtVersion team developed a cohesive visual system and editorial layout that reflect the integrity and transparency of the program. The final report effectively communicates the Fair Food Program’s mission, measurable impact, and continued commitment to fairness and human dignity within the food system.
Layout Design

Optimized for Digital Engagement
Throughout the design process, ArtVersion focused on optimizing the State of the Program Report for digital distribution, ensuring accessibility and engagement across devices. Iterative prototyping and layout testing guided the refinement of each section, creating a reading experience that feels both informative and immersive.
Our team worked closely with Fair Food Program stakeholders to structure the report around clarity, impact, and usability. Content hierarchy, data visualization, and photography were carefully balanced to communicate the program’s progress while maintaining visual consistency with its mission and brand.
The final design emphasizes readability and interactivity, allowing users to easily navigate chapters, access resources, and explore data highlights. Optimized for screen viewing and sharing, the report serves as a dynamic digital publication that amplifies the Fair Food Program’s message of transparency, fairness, and social responsibility.
Designing for Reach and Impact

Avenir Black, Avenir Black Outlined, and Avenir Book were selected to create a strong typographic hierarchy that balances authority with accessibility. The bold weights emphasize key messages and section headings, while Avenir Book provides a clean, comfortable reading experience for longer passages of text. Together, these typefaces establish a cohesive rhythm that enhances both print and digital legibility, reinforcing the report’s clarity and modern tone.
Infographic Design

Each graphic combines clean structure, consistent color palettes, and simplified forms to communicate key insights at a glance.
Using shape-based visualizations and organic imagery, the infographics highlight program outcomes such as case resolutions, complaint results, and progress over time. Designed to feel informative yet inviting, they balance statistical precision with visual warmth—bridging data and storytelling in a way that strengthens comprehension and engagement throughout the report.
