Designing Impact Reports
Let’s Get Ready, a national nonprofit supporting students on their path to and through college, partnered with ArtVersion to reimagine how their impact was shared through a series of reports.
Let’s Get Ready came to ArtVersion looking for a clear and engaging way to communicate key outcomes, student stories, and organizational progress to partners and supporters. ArtVersion approached the project with an emphasis on clarity, warmth, and approachability, making sure the reports felt informative without being overwhelming.
A flexible visual system was created to bring structure and consistency across all reports. Data and metrics were translated into easy to understand layouts, supported by clean typography, thoughtful color use, and custom infographics. Student testimonials and program highlights were woven throughout to balance numbers with real human experiences.
The final set of reports tells a cohesive story of Let’s Get Ready’s impact. They present information in a way that feels clear, credible, and inviting, helping the organization connect more meaningfully with its audience and strengthen long term engagement.

Typography
Nunito Sans and Helvetica were selected to create a clean, approachable, and highly legible typographic system that supports both clarity and impact across the reports.
Nunito Sans Bold brings a friendly, modern tone to headings and key callouts. Its rounded forms feel welcoming and accessible, while still maintaining a professional presence that aligns well with Let’s Get Ready’s mission-driven work.
Helvetica Regular provides a neutral and highly readable foundation for body copy. Its simplicity keeps the focus on the content itself, making longer sections easy to scan and understand across print and digital formats.
Helvetica Black is used strategically for emphasis, headlines, and data highlights. Its strong weight adds confidence and structure, helping important messages and statistics stand out without overwhelming the overall design.
Color Selections
ArtVersion used Let’s Get Ready’s established color palette of red, dark blue, green, light blue, black, and white to ensure consistency with the organization’s website and internally produced materials. Staying within these brand colors helped create a seamless connection across all touchpoints and reinforced a strong, recognizable visual identity.
Each color was applied with intention throughout the reports to support structure and readability. Red and dark blue were used to draw attention to key moments and headlines, green and light blue added balance and warmth, and black and white provided clarity and contrast. Together, the palette supported a clean, approachable design that keeps the focus on the content while strengthening Let’s Get Ready’s overall brand presence across print and digital formats.

From the start, the reports were thoughtfully designed to live beyond print. ArtVersion created layouts that feel just as polished in hand as they do on screen, allowing Let’s Get Ready to share their story across multiple channels without compromising clarity or design quality.
Special care was taken to ensure the reports adapt smoothly for digital distribution. Content blocks, typography, and visuals were structured to scale naturally across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, making the experience easy to navigate and read regardless of screen size.
By designing with flexibility in mind, ArtVersion helped ensure the reports remain accessible and engaging for a wide range of audiences, whether they are reading a printed report, browsing on a tablet, or scrolling on a mobile device.
