The September 2026 ranking places ArtVersion at the top of a statewide list that includes design, branding, digital, and user experience firms from across Illinois.
For us, the recognition reflects something broader than any one design discipline. Our work continues to evolve across creative, technology, and the many disciplines that connect the two.
That overlap has increasingly become part of how organizations approach design today. A brand rarely lives in one place. It moves through websites, interfaces, content, applications, campaigns, physical materials, and the technology behind those experiences. Keeping those pieces connected requires design thinking that extends well beyond individual deliverables.
ArtVersion has worked from Chicago since 1999, partnering with organizations across industries on brand and digital initiatives ranging from identity systems and enterprise websites to user experience, accessibility, and digital transformation.
Being recognized at the top of an Illinois design list carries particular meaning for us because of the depth of the design community here. Chicago and the surrounding region have a long history across graphic design, architecture, advertising, technology, and visual communication, and that creative environment has influenced our studio from the beginning.
The ranking also reflects feedback from clients, which remains the part we value most. Good work is ultimately measured by whether it solves the right problem, supports the organization behind it, and continues to work after launch.
