Knight E/A
Driving Infrastructure Innovation
Brand & Web Design Strategy
As a multi-disciplinary engineering and architectural firm based in Chicago, Knight E/A sought a brand and website redesign that would secure their position as an industry leader rooted in technical excellence. The ArtVersion team collaborated with internal corporate communications and design departments to strategize, design and develop an enterprise-level website that would serve as the foundation of their practical expertise.
Building A Legacy
Sealing the Knight E/A brand within a cohesive web design with focused messaging, ArtVersion helped to affirm their industry prowess and professionalism. The new web design highlights the diversity of projects and achievements spanning across over 175 full-time engineers and architects. One of the main objectives for the new site was recruitment and talent acquisition enablement. With a focus on corporate culture and showcasing past and current projects, we unveiled an elegant approach as a solution.
Visual & Graphic Design Strategy
ArtVersion strategically placed customized graphics throughout the web design, showcasing the Knight E/A process in an interactive format, as well as their wide range of technical skills and experience. On location, corporate photography was executed in tandem to complement developed graphics and pre-existing styles. Collectively we created new brand elements that are used as building blocks throughout the development lifecycle and later adapted into corporate brand guidelines and brand standards. By reinforcing corporate colors, we were able to expand the palette by adding a complementary color scheme and variables of hues. Cohesive storytelling is fueled by the photography while custom graphics served as representation of not only processes, but the Knight culture, values and corporate philosophy.
Web Achievements
Upon completion of this project, we entered Knightâs website into the 2019 Vega Digital Awards competition. The site ended up winning awards in multiple web design categories, including Construction, Architecture, Professional Services and Corporate Communications.
