A Greater Standard For Resilient Architectural Design

Celebrating Sustainability

When the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) adopted the RELi resilient construction standard, ArtVersion was tasked to create a digital identity and brand guide to express this significant ranking system for construction and building design. Our work offered versatile branding applications across a variety of avenues that could be used to recognize efforts to design communities and buildings that adhered to RELi’s standards.

Logo & Branding

The RELi standard was applicable to the vast audience in the construction, architecture and urban planning landscape and needed a strong visual identity. We created brand guidelines that included font types and a number of color usage combinations, as well as an elegantly sketched architectural reference with the logo integrated to visually communicate the industry RELi was meant to serve.

Communicating The Standard

In addition to signage, the visual branding could be customized to print materials including presentations, marketing collateral and business cards. Because achieving this standard is a measure of success for the professionals and firms within the design industry, awards and certifications designed by ArtVersion would also be among the materials that the brand identity would be expressed through.

Digital Expression

The RELi story and terms required a web presence and our landing page for the official building standard incorporated our brand guidelines alongside creative geometric architecture visuals with impactful descriptive copy for both mobile and web. Our partnership resulted in a comprehensive and creative brand expression with this groundbreaking approach to recognizing sustainable design for projects around the world.
