Phase 2: Strategy Development and Visual Prototyping
Before moving into full interface design, we establish the strategic and visual direction for the experience. This includes information architecture, content hierarchy, user journeys, navigation, interface concepts, and early prototypes. Rather than designing pages in isolation, we look at how the experience needs to work as a connected system. Collaboration at this stage helps us validate direction early and establish a strong foundation for the design that follows.Phase 3: Crafting Inner Page Visuals
Once the direction is established, we develop the broader interface across key templates, components, content types, and user journeys. Typography, color, imagery, interaction patterns, accessibility, and responsive behavior are considered as part of a connected design system rather than page-by-page decoration. This creates consistency while giving the experience enough flexibility to support different types of content and future growth.
Phase 4: Development and Real-Time Collaboration
Design and development increasingly overlap as the experience moves into production. Components are built responsively, content structures are implemented, and required CMS platforms, APIs, analytics, and third-party systems are integrated. Accessibility, performance, semantic structure, search visibility, and usability are considered throughout development rather than treated as final checks. Clients remain involved through shared development environments and regular reviews as the experience takes shape.
Phase 5: Launch and Adaptation
Before launch, the experience moves through quality assurance, usability review, accessibility checks, content validation, and user acceptance testing appropriate to the project. We prepare the production environment, coordinate migration and deployment, and verify critical functionality and analytics after launch. A website is rarely finished the day it goes live, so the process can continue through measurement, optimization, content evolution, and ongoing improvements.
